The East Aurora Co-op’s first cooperative supper was hosted by member-owner Lisa Metzger at her house. Cooperative suppers are opportunities to gather friends and invite them to hear about the co-op in a fun, relaxed setting.
Lisa served BBQ pork, made from local pork (she even knows the kiddos who raise the animals!), as well as local asparagus (some from her garden and some from local farmers). The strawberry-rhubarb pie was made by Sally Clauss.
In true co-op fashion, the five couples who attended were asked to bring salads, desserts and bread.
