The co-op office is getting more colorful by the day, both inside and out.
Artist Alix Martin and her crew (a.k.a. her kids and husband), along with some other local volunteers, started work on the mural that will cover the outer brick wall of the co-op office.
Zoe Martin, 14, and Erin Gass, 15, along with a friend, begin to block-in larger areas with color before artist Alix Martin adds more detail. The crew started around 8 a.m. Saturday morning.
Alix Martin wrapped up work Saturday with some clouds before taking a break to allow the wall to dry.
Great progress was made Saturday and painting will resume Monday and Tuesday.
While Alix and her volunteers were painting the outside of the co-op, local farmers provided their own kind of color on the inside.
