With less than 24 hours to go, the New Year will be upon us. And with it comes those ubiquitous resolutions with which we all have love-hate relationships…
Without taking sides or offering up too much advice, here are some helpful online tools that may just come in handy with some of those resolutions that we’ll all be implementing starting tomorrow:
-offers food, nutrition, fitness and lifestyle information and advice, as well as provides a ‘MyPlate’ calorie tracker for weight loss
-free calorie and exercise tracker
-products that track activity, calories and even sleep; updates in real time and can be linked to family or friends’ devices as well
-similar to Fitbit; a sensor in your shoe allows it to function as a pedometer and pace-tracker; also tracks calories and heart rate (with extra equipment)
-calorie counter, online community
-comprehensive database of different nutrient values in foods found in standard measures
-use this to map a course before or after a run; can save routes and workouts and share with others
-if you’re thinking of becoming a member, considering joining Jan. 1! They are offering $75 off that day, and half-off the joining fee for the rest of the month
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Resources
