There are hundreds of cooperative markets throughout the country. From San Francisco to Brooklyn, they exist in all different places, sizes, models and styles. While our store will be unique to our community and needs, we want to share with you what other cooperative markets look like. We’ll be featuring a different co-op each week on our Facebook page to familiarize our members and fans with what a model cooperative market might look like.
We’re kicking it off with Linden Hills Cooperative in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Linden Hills Co-op opened in 1976, and recently opened a new, larger location complete with a full deli counter and prepared foods department and a community room for events and classes. Hopefully a sneak peek at some of what’s in our future – enjoy!
