Beginning July 6, 2013 the East Aurora Cooperative Market will begin summer hours for its Mini Market. The two days a week for the Mini Market will remain Thursdays and Saturdays, but the hours will be modified as follows:
Thursdays: 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Saturdays: 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
The change, though slight, will reflect the higher traffic trends for shoppers of the Mini Market.
The EA Co-op Mini Market sells a number of local, seasonal and organic items that are indicative of what will be offered when the full service grocery store opens. For example: Alpine Made goat milk soap, honey, maple syrup, fair trade coffee, muesli, gluten-free bars, organically raised pork and beef, veggie burgers, eggs, cheese, and fresh produce.
“It’s so important for our member-owners to patronize the Mini Market. It not only helps sustain the cause, but also is one more important way for us to bolster the case for potential lenders,” said Mary Aiken, co-op president. “And, it lets us know what our member-owners would like to see on the shelves when we open the store.”
