The success of our co-op is thanks in part to the service of our co-op’s board of directors. The board is made up of nine democratically elected owners empowered to govern the co-op. Board leadership is essential to the success and growth of our co-op, its values, and the positive impact on our community. Every year we seek new co-op owners to be candidates to run for the co-op’s board in the annual election, and the time is here! Would you like to be considered to contribute to this important work?
What does a Director do?
Board members direct, empower, and hold the general manager accountable through board policies, share ultimate responsibility for the fiscal health of the business, and build on the collective aspirations of owners for our business. Board members have opportunities for training and education, and work together as a group to support the GM in leading our store to success.
