These are exciting times for your Co-op! Please plan to attend the Annual Member-Owner Meeting next Thursday, May 28 at 6:30 pm  in the East Aurora Middle School cafeteria to learn more about your market, cast your ballot in the Board election (if you haven’t sent your ballot in yet), vote on proposed bylaw changes and…meet your new Co-op General Manager!

As member-owners we’ve accomplished great things together over the last year. What’s ahead in the coming months is even more exciting – we have our site, we have our building permit, and now we have our General Manager to lead the way to opening day and beyond. It’s all coming together!

If you haven’t reviewed the Board candidate bios, please do so. We have seven great candidates for four seats on the Board. Candidates  include incumbent Board Treasurer Michael Benzin, Gary Kimmel-Hurt, Andrew Layer, Michael McClaren, Kathy Pomerhn, Kara Spencer-Ching, and Sandra Szalinski. Full bios of the candidates are available on the Co-op website here. The ballot count for the Board election will take place immediately after the meeting at the Middle School.

Proposed bylaw changes will be voted on by member-owners present at the Annual Meeting. You can review the proposed changes online here.
