Food For Thought Series:
To Buy Or Not To Buy Organics: That Is The Question
Tuesday, September 24, 2013, 7 p.m.
Should I buy organic? Are organic foods healthier? Why is organic food more expensive?
If you have asked yourself these questions or are just want to learn more about organic products, then join us for our first Food for Thought session of the fall. Registered dietitian Theresa Bindig, MS, RD, CDN, will answer these questions and discuss the pros and cons of organic foods over traditionally grown foods.
A graduate of William Smith College and Framingham State University, Theresa has served as the nutrition counselor at Neighborhood Health Center in Buffalo since 2009. During her 10+ years of experience as a dietitian she has worked in a variety of health care settings including rehab, long-term care, home care and fitness centers.
