It’s an exciting and important week for the Co-op Capital Campaign. Through the generosity of member-owners like you, we have hit the $190,000 mark. And through the generosity of two anonymous member-owners, we’ve been presented with investment challenges that could take that total much higher.
Challenge One: $10,000 Matching Challenge – An owner who has already invested $10,000 will invest a second $10,000 if another owner also invests at the $10,000 level.
Challenge Two: 50 for 300 – If we reach $300,000 in verified investments by August 1, we have a supporter who will invest an additional $50,000.
In order to meet these challenges and achieve our ultimate goal of $875,000 by August 15, our dedicated team of campaign callers and collectors are spending countless hours reaching out to member-owners and making it all happen. Meeting nightly at the new Co-op office in the Red Brick Plaza, the team is the nerve center of the Capital Campaign. Project Manager Sheila Conboy, who leads the team, is at the office between 6:30 and 8:30 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday. She is also there on Saturdays from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. Stop by, say hello to Sheila and the team, and get all the information you need to make the decision to invest in the future of the Co-op.
No time to stop by? You can also call Sheila at 716-912-0672, call Treasurer Mike Benzin at 716-316-1090, or send an email to [email protected].
If you’ve been waiting for the perfect time to invest in the East Aurora Co-op, the time has come.
