October is Co-op Month
Every October, folks from all over celebrate cooperatives. Co-op grocery stores (like us!), farmer cooperatives (Organic Valley, Cabot Creamery), worker cooperatives (BreadHive, Equal Exchange), credit unions (Great Erie Federal Credit Union) and beyond. We all benefit from the power of people working together: building connections, empowering owners, and creating businesses that are reflective of and benefit their communities.
Together, we’ve created something that serves our families, neighbors and the WNY region. That goes for our store that we shop in and the people we’ve connected to by being in business together.Thank you owners – you’re a part of something to be proud of!
And, Crock-toberfest!?
Lexington Co-op can slow cook with the rest of ’em. Check out their latest crockpot recipes for Apple BBQ Pulled Pork, Sweet Potato Lentils and more – plus get in on the game with Slow Cooker Lasagna or – get this – Slow Cooker Walnut Brownies.

Pumpkin SALE
We’re telling the pumpkins to ship out. Carving pumpkins are just $2.99, and Fenton Farm’s sweet heirloom pumpkins are down to $4.99 each. The heirlooms look killer stacked on the stoop or make a fun centerpiece. For the carvers, three words: pumpkin carving contest. Do it! Load up the porch for a screamin’ deal while supplies last!
